RC Cola hadn’t made an ad in 40 years.

So when RC Cola launched their NOT A SOFT DRINK campaign, they made sure it was nothing like the soft-ass bullshit cola ads you’re used to.
Now we needed someone who could actually bring that NOT SOFT energy to life.

So we tapped into how completely cuckoo bananas RC Cola fans are about their favorite cola and created the biggest, most unhinged fan of all.

Then we gave him the password to the RC Cola social accounts.

This is the story of how RC Guy was born.

RC Guy isn’t a social media guru though.

He doesn’t care about strategy or trends. The only thing he cares about is RC Cola. But he’s doing his best.

He makes Boomer TikToks fancams, posts memes, and speaks his mind through captions that are really just unfiltered, free-flowing thoughts with a concerning amount of typos.

But we get it. Typing is hard when you’re inside a full-body suit.

DIGITAL ACTIVATION

We created Tippy, a fictional Tipmas character. The only way to stop his mischief? Tip.
Scan the QR code, fill the jar, and watch Tippy drown in real time.

IRL ACTIVATION

We turned Joe Coffee into a holiday scene, with Tipmas Dollars transformed into a money tree, garland, and gift wrap.
Then we dropped limited-edition cups to get coffee fans hyped.

RESULTS

During Tipmas week, tips shot up 575 percent. Tipmas cheer? Up a bajillion percent.
